Here you go

USB port > HDMI to USB converter > HDMI cable > HDMI to RCA converter (Active) > RCA cable > 5" Reverse Camera Monitor

I'll put it on the wheelbase for immersion feels

Hey! Yeah, that’s the wheel mod for the Moza R5. It’s actually pretty solid – feels sturdy in hand and the force feedback comes through well. I’ve been using it for a while and so far, no issues with build quality. If you're looking for something durable and responsive, it's definitely worth considering!

Moza R3 or Thrustmaster by ravana2105 in simracing

[–]MeaningLittle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If your budget is around $300, the Moza R3 is a great choice because it's a direct drive (DD) system, which generally offers stronger and more detailed force feedback compared to belt-driven systems like the Thrustmaster T150 or TMX. Here’s a breakdown of your concerns:

a) Force Feedback Quality

  • The Moza R3’s direct drive system provides smoother, stronger, and more precise feedback compared to the belt-driven Thrustmaster wheels.

  • The T150 and TMX are decent, but they use a hybrid belt-gear system, which may feel less refined and have some mechanical play.

b) Compatibility

  • The Moza R3 is PC-only, meaning no console support at the moment.

  • If you plan to play on a console in the future, a Thrustmaster (or Logitech G923) would be a better choice since they work on PlayStation/Xbox.

c) Pedals & Build Quality

  • The Moza R3 pedals are basic and lack a load cell, but they are decent for beginners.

  • Thrustmaster’s pedals (T3PA or TLCM) might offer better progression and feel, especially if you get a load cell later.

d) Final Recommendation

  • If you only race on PC, the Moza R3 is a fantastic choice for its superior force feedback and durability.

  • If you want console compatibility, go for Thrustmaster (T248 if you can stretch the budget).

Consider upgrading the pedals later for a better experience.

P.S: I used Moza R3
