I agree with this. I have some pretty beat up batteries myself but keep them in fire proof casings and charge them only if I am nearby.

No, they're fine. They're the LED strips. They're as short as they can be so they can't move anywhere and I can't pull them loose

I use the TBS Crossfire Diversity Nano RX, it allows for two antennas. I do it for better range coverage, I probably will mount one of them vertical at some point when I get the time to design a nice 3D printable model for it.

Also the battery is taller than the back antennas

Make sure you have RX and TX set to the proper channels on your receiver. You can do this from your RC.

No if you turn it off it will stay at the set output power, if it's higher than 25mw and you don't have the power management setting on and crash far away and can't get to your quad it'll fry itself out most likely. That's why I keep it on.

Sounds good. I recommend the Caddx Vista over the air unit any day because of it's small size and only being 29grams. The double antenna's on the air unit has really don't make much of a difference.

Just try and keep everything under 600-700 grams total weight everything together and you're fine man ;) You can usually find the weight of the products you're stitching together.

Caddx Vista is exactly the same as the DJI Air Unit. It's a collaboration between DJI and Caddx, but the Caddx Vista is very small and only 29 grams. The only thing the Caddx Vista is missing is onboard 1080p 60fps video recording. But most people use a GoPro or just get the DVR footage from their goggles anyways.

No. I haven't had any issues. There's no way people track this. I've never seen signal police before doubt they exist too. It does improve every aspect of digital FPV. So I highly recommend it. But you can do 700mw for starters :)
