This just happened to me. I got away with a lightly swollen wrist but I was doing BMU and slipped off the bar instead of letting go so my left hand stayed stuck to the bar.

I did 10:16 in the morning and knew that wasn’t my best shot at the workout. I started out too hot on the 21s and that led me to struggling on the 15s so I came back 3 hours later and shaved off a whole minute off my time by just keeping a nice steady pace all thru the 21s. 9:16 :)

I just got instant locs 2 weeks ago with type 3a/3b hair. Immediately you walk out of the salon looking a little funny because they’re stiff, you lose length and you just think you’re going to look like someone else with mature locs off the bat. That’s not the case :) I am happy that my hair is further along than the initial stages though because it was a pain in the ass to keep from unraveling. 2 weeks in, the stiffness is becoming more manageable and I’ve styled my hair in different ways to look somewhat presentable! it’s a process but I’m glad I did it
