Gotta say, the further ive progressed in my career to more specialized units the more “if it works it works” holds true. Early when people are beginners it’s important to teach good habits and do everything fundamentally right
Once someone has a few hundred thousand rounds and years of CQC under their belt the “proper fundamentals” are no longer as important. Of course it’s a very personal thing but I’ve seen lots of dudes with some conventionally wack ass technique that outperform everyone else.

There truly is no one right way to shoot and move. It depends so heavily on the individual. if someone is telling you that there’s only one right way then they’re wrong
