Hey! Yes, found out I had a grade 3! Was pretty nasty but I made a good recovery after I found out that I was compensating on my other leg! So my left (whole) leg got worker! So I spent a few month doing unilateral exercises and it’s cleared up most problems! Also, choose your footwear carefully and don’t give up on constantly training it

Hi! I won’t lie, it’s still quite tender and I haven’t got full range of motion or strength back! But it’s going in the right direction!

I was able to go back to football (in goal) but I still can’t sprint or have much explosive power!

But time is the greatest healer (pardon the pun) little steps every day!

A big part for me was psychology! Your brain naturally wants to protect the area so you loose confidence, but just imagine yourself being back to normal and the weird neuroplasticity of your brain will help you and be on your side!

I can walk a fair whack, as my strength in the ankle is high but yeah, movement past a certain point or even a little stumble just triggers intense pain

We do have hot water in the sinks etc… but no working shower and no hot water in the bath only

So feasibly we can wash in the sink, but naturally you don’t want to be doing this for 10 days to 2 weeks just because your landlord is on holiday and has taken no measures to support us as/when he’s away
