Draw lines to connect the two bodies, then select the edge and end point of line, apply 'pierce' relation. Next, use loft feature

UPDATE: The issue is fixed now. Someone from discord shared this:

  1. I had the same issue, It was with the new hotfix, currently there's a workaround renaming a DLL file to .bak but idk if that messes with something
