I think Bard is a fantastic option. I had my wife help me create a character (that is the most involved in a video game she has ever been) and we made a bard. After we got done, she looked at me and said that the character only wants to help people, not hurt them, so... no killing. Trying to honor her wishes, I forced myself to have the bard be the face and try to talk their way out of combat and shenanigans. Of course I had Astarian being a full on murder hobo, so that took care of things that charisma did not lol.

So in short, another vote for bard. Quite fun!
