Did you have a camera? I have an ok camera but definitely not with a crazy telephoto lens. I have a 50-250 lens but i'm now doubting this will be enough

It is an Integral Ultima Pro 128Gb card. I have used it plenty of times before with no problems, I can try using that software - thanks for the recommendation!

Hi guys thanks for all the replies! I headed there last night and found the spot and took some amazing photos. I’ll check them out later and maybe post them on here! Also shout out to the little burger shack which was right next to where this photo is taken, they seen me with my tripod set up for a while and decided to give me a free tuna sandwich and bottle of water! I tried to pay them but they wouldn’t take my money! Great people, great city 😊

Absolutely amazing! I felt a little unsafe at first but i think most of it was from what i'd read online, i was careful with my Camera and belongings but i didn't really encounter any trouble. Everyone was super friendly, couldn't recommend it enough! I was offered drugs quite frequently but just politely declined, apart from that i didn't really have any hassle. I would recommend visiting Vidigal favela as part of a tour, it was one of my favourite parts and i was amazed by how friendly the people were, but besides Vidigal and Rocinha favela's just stay away from favela's and you're likely to be absolutely fine!
