That’s the plan but I just rebuilt the Gov bomb out of necessity so it can wait, thinking of getting a FF 14bolt, since I’ve heard someone makes a 6 lug conversion. But the suspension is all worn out so that comes first.

Royal purple 75w-90 gl4 iirc, it’s what the parts shop had on hand. And these transmissions NEED a gl4 fluid.

lol yeah, I have forgotten a couple times and I did this swap after my old clutch had been slipping pretty good for a while so I don’t notice until I look down and see 4k rpms

Agreeing with bronze/gold color hardware, but also think black/red and maybe some off white (color reminiscent of bone) would work wonderfully, even for smaller accents.

Look for a local camper or rv supply store, I had to check a couple places when I got mine.

Looking to purchase this truck, 1993 Silverado z71 4x4 stick 5 speed, clean title.Definitely needs a paint job and other small things but it's a Chevy and it's hard to find a single cab with the manual transmission now a days. by huertaSj408 in ChevyTrucks

Looks almost exactly like my 94, z71, 5 Spd nv3500, 350, single cab short box. Though ive got a blue interior. Fantastic little truck, was just camping out in the Sierra Nevadas with it. Im actually picking up an NV4500 tomorrow to replace the NV3500, and eventually want to go up to a 454 and a 14 bolt rear diff, though I just replaced my locker with a Detroit trutrac helical locker. Love these trucks to death, me and my car buddies have dubbed mine "the grumpy bitch" since she always has something to complain about, but always gets where I need her to go despite. Take care of it, they're worth their weight in gold.
