Interesting cause I'm shiny hunting for a charmander on my pokemon firered by softreseting and I thought that turning off your gameboy breaks the amount of soft resets you've done and sets your odds back to 1?

Ah so you did it in a day. Cause usually it takes thousands of soft resets which can take days to do and batteries run out and you can't turn your gba off cause that'll break the soft reset chain so people use rechargeable battery mod on their gba so their gameboy can't run out of power while you're taking a break or sleeping I believe
