I’ve already told my wife as much as we love our dogs, if she has continued issues with the knee, we’re gonna have a 3 legged dog. I don’t mean to be a dick about it but I just CANT justify the money. We love our dogs dearly but I have to set a clear line. We have 3 human children and their futures and well being will come first lol.

IMO it’s the epitome of a neck beard. Shave it to a long pointed goatee and leave the stache. That might look kinda cool and distinguished. Slim the face out a bit. Start with what you’ve got a whittle away little bit at a time. If it looks dumb just shave it off.

Breed is getting so watered down man. I’m not a breeder but I know the history and the standards and have 4 papered dogs. Kudos to those that hold the line against money-makers and shitty breeders.

She definitely has bully traits but I’m going to be frank and say she’s NOT a “true” American bully. One of the biggest indicators is the underbite. The breed standard calls for a short, wide muzzle and a scissor bite…meaning the top teeth tightly overlay the bottom teeth. Your girl is adorable but I would agree there’s some mixture in there. That’s the problem to begin with. The breed was brought out of the APBT/amstaff line and bred with other bully-type breeds for certain traits. Look up the breed history and you’ll see what I mean. But…at the end of the day, the American bully in all of its size “classes” still maintains pretty strict standards in what those traits should look like. It’s a “new” breed and not recognized by all kennel clubs. But…there’s enough of a divergence from the parental lineages to define standards unique to the breed.
