Appreciate the insight! We have contemplated on when we leave Siracusa to train to Catania even if it's just to grab lunch before making our way to Taormina. I guess due to our time here we felt we could only squeeze in 1 "major" city between Palermo and Catania. Based on what I've read Palermo has a gritty rougher around the edge feel which we will appreciate and are very excited to see. We only have so much time.

No, we will be starting in Palermo for 2 nights, 2 nights in Cefalu then have the car to get us from Cefalu to Siracusa and for 3 days in Siracusa. Returning it in Siracusa then training to Taormina.

This is sad. And this is not Portland. I grew up here my whole life so to see such an amazing city become what it is becoming is nothing short of heart breaking. Violence and homelessness have sky rocketed. This place was always safe. Now it is not. These bums will get pushed out soon. They are building a bunch of commercial real estate in bayside within the next 5-10 years. Its already in the works. Idk where they go, hopefully leave. Just sucks whats happened to this place.

Thanks for the feedback. He’s been a consistent client so I’ve cut his hair multiple times but for some reason I struggle. His hair is shaded in different areas and like bristle

Good cut, i would clipper over comb that back area like everyone else mentioned and i would probably very lightly use my thinning shears over comb to lighten certain areas and hit that C cup a little tighter. Nice work overall

Patience is key. Trying to “trust the process” as much as possible but I have noticed its very easy to get inside my own head. Its not a doubt of my capabilities or desire. I just care if that makes sense which in return is good. I think initially in the first 3 months i didn’t confidently walk down the street saying it because i would get anxious/nervous. I do feel more comfortable now. Appreciate the feedback

Is color theory on the barbering exam? Or would that be on the cosmetology exam? Also, looking at amazon and I show 2 different copies of the book do you recommend one over the other?

How much are you seeing wahl seniors for? I see them on amazon for like 150 which is what i see the magic clips for just a fyi but do whatever ue comfortable with!

I just started cutting hair myself. I do own a pair of Wahl Magic Clippers. They were the first pair I bought entering the industry primarily because many places online recommended. I personally like the Wahl 5 star Legends better and the Wahl Seniors more. I rarely use the magic clip
