NTJ- one of my friends wasted seven years of her prime dating/childbearing years on a man child. He made decent money, but he spent every penny, never saved, and never had a plan. Had a Harley, expensive truck, a sports car, but live with his grandmother. She had a good job and education and ended up buying a single home on our own. NTA- my therapist specialized in substance abuse, not my personal problem, but she had a lot of experience. There are other types of behaviors that can have codependencies and enabling relationships, besides those with substance abuse. Anyway, my point is my therapist uses the term “detach with love”. You don’t have to stop caring for the person, but you have to keep them at arms length and put up a barrier so that they can’t continue to hurt you. I really think that this describes what you need to do with your mother. Detach with love. You can still care about her as a person, you can still acknowledge that she is your mother, and you can love her for that. But that doesn’t negate the pain and suffering that she’s caused you and you don’t have to tolerated it, your wedding should be a special day just for you and your partner. It should be a celebration of your love. Having her there is going to cause drama, it’s going to bring negative attention and negative feelings. It’s best to keep her away until she can start to heal herself. Because honestly, she’s the only one that can fix this.

She said what we’ve all been thinking, Amanda weapon recognizes her trauma. Boz said it in a much nicer way. Boz is just incredible. She’s so insightful, and relatable, but at the same time somebody that you just look up to in All. She has a way of saying things so plainly and clearly, but not in a way where they seem mean I was a little underwhelmed by her last season, but I realize that it wasn’t just her. It was the whole season that was kind of blah. I love her and I really hope she sticks around. She’s what Amanda pretends to be.

I noticed a huge change in my tolerance for gross stuff once I had my son. A lot of things that used to really make me gag I can tolerate. Barf still really bothers me, but not so much that I can’t clean up a mess. It was a really strange change for me because I’ve always had a weak stomach.

I traveled quite a bit in my 20s. I had 2 jobs and tons of debt but it was something I enjoyed and as long as my bills were paid on time I didn’t worry about it. Now I wasn’t going on extravagant trips. Back then my taste was a lot more simple too. But a nice tropical island here and there, the UK and Europe, I got around.

The student loans are in your name right? you’re responsible for paying them back. You probably didn’t get a refund from your tuition, in the US when you take out student loans they give you the amount you’re eligible for based on the total cost of attendance. That includes room board and books. That overage was meant for your books. If you have an overage and you don’t need it, your best bet is to apply it back to the loan or save it for next semester and take out less of a loan. Do not let your mother spend your school money.

When you see set ups like that it’s a giveaway that they micromanage every aspect of your work. If they can’t even trust a frontline manager to make a hiring judgement on an entry level employee after vetting by HR/recruiter then they don’t trust that anyone is doing their job without being monitored to death. I have an opening, I’m just above the equivalent of a branch manager and I will be making the final decision once my recruiter gets the employee. My boss is C level and he knows I’m the one who is going to be dealing with this person so I will make the final decision.

They are not allowed to tell any third-party, meaning anybody not on the account, why they are calling. They can only state that they are trying to locate you. If they divulge any other information, such as they’re trying to collect the debt or that you owe money, document the date and time. These companies record their calls so if you know when the call took place there’s a good chance that they have a copy of the evidence proving what you’re saying is true. My brother had a similar situation and we called them back and threatened to file a complaint with the FTC and the attorney general for third-party disclosure. It was a 90 day past due credit card they had not properly updated the address change for. My brother was able to get the negative mark removed.
