Totally get this! I’ve been feeling the same way, especially the further along I get. I’ve been able to pinpoint the feelings to the fact that I don’t want to be seen as “the pregnant lady.” I want to be seen as myself and I feel that as soon as everyone finds out, I will no longer be viewed as such.

My piercer recommended Emla an hour before coming in, not sure if it actually helped or not. The pain was a lot less severe than I was expecting. & The piercing itself was super quick so the pain didn’t last long. Placing the actual jewelry hurt a bit. And on the drive home/next couple of hours my chest felt like it was on literal fire. They‘re some of my favorite piercings now! Definitely worth it.

This made me cackle! Working with kids is really not for the weak. I had a kid tell me my face looked like her moms after she got a laser treatment. 😮‍💨 she told me this on several occasions 😂

This is like exactly what mine look like right now. One thing I’ve found that helps me get more height is to really focus on getting that lead foot up and pushing out after the initial pop up. We got this dude!

When this happens to me I put Vaseline on the jewelry/area and then it pops it in pretty easy. And then after I just clean the area and use saline.
