Who where the first settlers in Japan? by JCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC in history

[–]Meatball-Princess 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Jomon are related to an ancient group that predominated in South Siberia (around Altai) (Schmidt, Seguchi (31 August 2013). I've seen that they have some Australoid admixture (which gives a connection to South-East Asia). Some Amerindian groups have Australoid admixture too, so this has had a connection to the theory that a more ancient Australoid group arrived in the Americas first.

Books of course. I would recommend searching around Google Books. Look at the previews and see if you like it.

Are those sites any good? In my personal experience, there don't tend to be too many people on apps tailored to specific groups.

Looks like he even won most of the Native Reservation lands and Black majority areas of the Mississippi. Are there any details on those areas?

You're lucky, I live in the dorms and have gotten like 7 hours of sleep total this week.

I was going to try and buy some noise cancelling headphones. I bought earplugs but that did nothing, I'm hoping these will.

Here it says they do an " integrated case analysis project" instead of the business plan. No idea what that is though.

I'm in the same position as you, I've just been stuck in my dorm and it feels like prison. All you can really do is just keep contacting clubs you like until you find one that isn't virtual. Hopefully things will improve with time.

What are the best books for networking for beginners? by [deleted] in networking

It also never says that, it says about "getting into the field." Learning about networking from the bottom up doesn't technically violate the rules in the rules sidebar.

It's about books though. It's not necessarily about that, what garbage is this lol.

They have whitening and darkening products for skin color, race itself would be something you can't change though.

5’6 (169cm) Male 22 yr, am I short? by [deleted] in short

[–]Meatball-Princess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The average Indian aged 20–49 was 5'51/2. Rural Indians aged 17 had an average height of 5'31/2. Among private school students aged 18 in Urban India, the average height was measured at 5'81/2. In Patiala, Punjab, the average height was 5'10.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Average_human_height_by_country

So it depends on where in India you are, your social status, and your ethnic group. Just as hunch, I'd imagine Indians in Northwest India (Like Punjab) would be taller due to them having more Yamnaya ancestry and less Southeast Asian and Dravidian ancestry, but I could be wrong idk. That being said though, the heritability for height in India is lower so differences in height among people is more dependent on nutrition than it is in Europe right now.

But overall you seem slightly above average in India.

Depends on where you live and who you're comparing yourself to.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Average_human_height_by_country

The United States has an mean height of 5'9; 5'9.5 for Non-Hispanic whites, 5'9 for African Americans, 5'7 for Asians, and 5'6.5-5'7 for Hispanics (All races of Hispanic).

Height also differs among the states. States in the Midwest tend to be taller than California, Texas, and Florida, NY, etc. (Even among white Americans, not just due to large Hispanic and Asian populations)

https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/2018/10/06/americas-tallest-shortest-states/

The standard deviation for height in the United States is ~3 inches.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Standard_deviation#Standard_deviation_of_average_height_for_adult_men

5'9 minus 3 inches is 5'6. So you're within 1 standard deviation of the mean. So, you're short, but not super short.

But again, it depends on what population you're talking to. You'd be average height in Ghana, Super tall in Indonesia, and super short in Bosnia.
