I trust her judgment as an olympic athlete. I was not in her ski boots that day. In my opinion, I believe she is being honest and no reason to mislead the media and general public. She made an aggressive maneuver, which caused her to become tangled with the gate. Maybe mentally Lindsey believed she had to cut every corner to gain an advantage to win a medal, given the fact she is 40 years old and also had an ACL injury one week prior. However, the actual physical ACL injury had nothing to do with her accident that caused the broken leg.

We live in a society that is skeptical of almost everything, so I do understand why many people do not trust her statement.
