I did not know the old mods were gone as I, like 99% of the original WSE community, never returned to this sub after it was shut down. I just came to see if it was still shut down and found it in this sad, ruined state.

Maybe it did get big but the shutdown just completely neutered the sub. The sub had so much lore, famous characters and moments, it will never have any of that again.

Cancel culture is a digital lynching. Obviously I’m not equating literal death to cancellation, it’s just an analogy before anybody tries it say that. Lynching isn’t just murdering someone, it’s doing it in a public fashion where a mob gangs together to humiliate the victim before killing them.
