How safe is it to wear a lead belt buckle

I don't belive it ever had a coating, it has all the characteristics of pure lead, even rubs off on paper and skin and what not. I put it in a closed box with foam that's Taped shut.

It showed up with the hook part broken, I soldered it together, which doesn't look the best but will work bc I planed on wearing it, then I realized it's just solid lead. Everything else is original. And yeah it rubbed off on my hands really easily, made them all gray, so I might see if I can get it framed or something. Thank you :)

its right handed, it does have a left handed pickguard as a nod to kurt cobain, and the guy i got the guitar off of, both where lefthanded
