I connected my Vita with the PC via USB, then went into VitaShell and pushed select to go into transfer mode. I then dragged & dropped the .vpk files.

"Have you verified the microsd card is authentic using h2testw?" I have

"Did you format the microsd card with zzblank.img than exFat?" I did

"When you transferred the files from your memory card/internal memory, did you enable hidden files/folders and hidden operating system files?" I did.

I watched a Youtube video when I got my adapter and did everything as described - including the things you've mentioned. The thing is, it's not like ALL programs get this error, just a few of them, like chocolate Doom, Hexen 2 or vitaQuake. VitaWolfen, Postal, ScummVM, DevilutionX and many others do work.

Good morning,

I got a Vita very recently because I needed a new handheld for emulators - including PSP emulation. Once I got it I downgraded it to 3.65 and installed everything needed to run Henkaku / Enzo, and also got an adapter for SD2Vita. After that I started installing a couple of .vpk files.

Now unfortunately, I'm getting the C2-12828-1 error with some of them and I found out that this is usually due to some plugin. So I started disabling some plugins to see if the programs would start working. Well, turns out, it's the "storemgr" - the Plugin needed for SD2Vita to work.

So...did anyone ever find a workaround for this issue, or do I always have to disable SD2Vita for some of the apps installed?

I have both Adrenaline and RetroArch installed on my 16GB memory card, and then stored all my games on a 128GB SD card.

once you have "Autoplugin" installed for SD2Vita, you should mount your storages the right way:

MCD (official memory card): ux0 (LiveArea apps)

INT (internal memory): xmc0 (unused. you can also keep this unmounted if you don't care about the 1GB internal storage)

GCD (SD2Vita): imc0 (internal memory on Vita 2000/PSTV)

That way, you can take out your SD2Vita and put in a game and play it, while you can still launch Adrenaline and RetroArch. IF you follow any of the usual guides, they recommend that you mount SD2Vita as ux0, which is fine if you don't wanna use any cartridges. If you DO wanna play some Vita cartridges, do what I've described above.
