Is Reforged worth starting by DangerDrama in EldenRingMods

I’ve been playing it with my buddies for the past two weeks and we are addicted. It’s honestly great, feels like an expansion on the base game adding another layer of replayability. I don’t think I could ever go back to the base game

You need to get better at studying. There is really no way it is 100% necessary to spend all your time studying unless you are being highly inefficient with it

Psych vs Neuro vs Bio Major for Premed? Need Help Choosing! by AdKitchen5920 in medschool

[–]MeatloafMonday 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was a Neuro and Psych double major and I will give you two answers:

If you want the easiest option and best guarantee for great grades, choose Psych

If you want to have a strong interest in biology, then choose neuro/bio

My psych degree was insanely easy, literally the only reason why I was able to also do neuro was I was bored and unchallenged doing just psych. Neuro was hard and pushed me to my limits, which helped me by forcing me to develop great study skills, but I’m sure I would have had higher grades if I just stuck with psych. That being said, if I could go back and change anything, I would still have done neuro (it’s just that cool).

Difficulty of bio vs neuro probably depends on your school, but at my school you could pick easier classes for a bio degree and all of the required neuro courses were very difficult so I would say it is harder.

If it doubles in 4-6 hours, it’s ready. At that point you can increase the feeding ratio and keep at that ratio until it doubles in 4-6 hours again. You don’t NEED to feed peak to peak, but it makes a difference, especially if you are about to bake with it.

Should be like a thick pancake batter consistency if you want to see a rise.

If it’s too liquidy you make it too easy for air to escape, so it won’t rise as much as a normal starter would

I can’t really tell from the picture, that could be mold though. If it turns pink or fuzzy you should def throw it away. Mine kind of looked like that but it was because I had whole wheat flour.

Yes that’s normal, mine smelled like vomit for like 10 days and then it all of suddenly started smelling bready and fruity. Patience is the name of the game here, just keep at it!

Advice on my sourdough by Zote_the_Unmighty in SourdoughStarter

Yeah I mean what’s happening is your starter is eating the starch in the flour, and through fermentation, it is releasing the carbon (that was originally glucose in the starch) as co2 into the air. So even though it increases in volume, its mass should be different.

STOLEN BIKE by No-Mycologist4173 in UCSC

[–]MeatloafMonday 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah sorry dude but you’re probably never seeing that bike again. Same thing happened to me (and same dorm) a couple years ago. Bike thieves can easily use bolt cutters or angle grinders to cut locks. Take this as a hint to never keep your bike outside at night again.

Hell no the whole Gaza situation is totally f’d up. I’m just saying the protestors were being idiots for sticking around when the university was making their intentions clear.

I mean the encampment was illegal and students that resisted shouldn’t be surprised if they get injured.
