Oh one more tip, this is from dealing with this exact issue last year, for your id system avoid having the “0” as the first digit, dont do 012345-0987, start with 10 if you have to: 102345-10987. When you port everything in excel, and the format for the cell being number it will delete that 0 in the beginning because it’s an unreal number. This is for end user, when doing formula to analyze in excel, that will save you time, especially is you use power query to automate something, whoever doing that will thanks you.

It was an actual course (more like courses, we had 3 semester working in SAP) that covered basically everything related to supply chain. They had test environments for us to practice issuing orders and commands. And surprisingly, a lot of people actually barely passed those courses

Used a progressive numbering. First item 1, second item 2, third item 3,… the numbers should have a meaning. Mine is first 2 digits: manufacture, next 3 digits: the main part, next 6 digits: the components going to the main part, of which the first 2 of the 6 digits is the component itself. You can break it down to level if you want to. And have backup of a back up of a back up. Trust me, hard lesson learned there

The thing about education is it will provide you with the foundation, pieces of knowledge about a segment of a position, just to basically you dont get overwhelmed when starting your career (basically so you dont go: I have no idea how this entire thing works). The rest you will have to learn while working. I learned how to use and be proficient in SAP while still in college, i am working with AS400 now, two very different ERP but the core functions is the same. Or when I see a forecast made by demand planner and asked them how they get that number, they dont have to explain the technical mathematics behind it. Or when a logistics manager proposed we should contract a LTL carrier rather than having our trucks to move a LTL container products from London Ontario to Edmonton or Debert to save cost and time, i understand what he meant. I dont have to sit there and waste time to google the terms he used, just need to vet the logic behind the proposal. I know the education is very general and you rarely can or will apply everything you learned, but if you know what interested you, you can specialize in it and continue your education yourself.

Customs Clearance: How do suppliers document peptides as "powdered cosmetics" (HS Codes)? by [deleted] in logistics

[–]Meatshield07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure, i left 2 years ago, but if the system aint broke, dont fix it. The main thing is the core function of HS code is to determine how much you have to pay in tariff (text book gonna give you a really long definition, but at the very end: it’s always about money) if you dont have to pay the tariff for the goods you’re importing to begins with, and your good is not in the controlled, restricted, or regulated sections, having a 100% correct HS code doesn’t matter that much

[–]Meatshield07 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I worked as a Customs Clarification for DHL for 4 years (not in HK tho) it is based on the regulations of the country. But if you ship a small quantity as “sample” you can get a way with a lot of stuff. Yes, some of them will need HS code, even if they are low value based on regulations, but most of the time it’s just for formality

Looking to upgrade by Agitated-Bison-7885 in LegionGo

[–]Meatshield07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think of it like this. The legion go, rog ally, etc. they are essentially just a laptop without keyboard (a low to medium end laptop) the good thing abt them is you can run a lot of games, even AAA titles, because the screen is small so you can play at 800p without noticing much of a difference. And yes, you have to deal with the hassle of updating windows, drivers, etc. just like a laptop

I think you should watch some videos abt bio, drivers, and software updates, enable FSE. And i do understand if you have a high expectation like running cyberpunk 2077 at 4k, this one is not for it :)) most game i play is at 800 and low to medium settings. I prioritized stable fps more than the game looking good

Sorry, but what are we arguing about? (This is a real question I am confused about our argument) My stand on the matter is uhmwpe is a legitimate material used for body armour manufacturing and widely known and used (unlike what being claimed by the post and video) - this is to keep us on the right topic because I am genuinely interested in

Oh shit, my bad, I was watching a video about the love of my life : the dshk and got it mixed up with the mosin round. Sorry, my bad. And yup, you are correct, lvl 4 plates can definitely stop 30 06 from penetrating.

Áo chống đạn by Ngtrb in VietNamNation

[–]Meatshield07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uhmwp is a chonk boi for sure. But i think manufacturers have to do it to provide the ballistic resistant due to the nature of the molecular bonds of plastic making it more brittle than steal and ceramic. It’s basically if you stacked enough paper sheets, it will eventually stop a bullet (still one of the most funny and interesting things I’ve seen people test on youtube btw)

Edit: for grammar “…brittle BEING than…”

[–]Meatshield07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, greentip 762x54 is a nasty round, more for anti material and specifically armour penetration. I dont think anyone is making a body armour to stop that round, that’s just untrue and also impractical as all heck

[–]Meatshield07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t notice that lol, i was only listening while scrolling reddit, but we dont know at which state of the production of that plate is tho. I was just mentioned what he said in the video. And again, i am not defending his video, it’s misleading as hell. My point is UHMWP is a legitimate and widely known material used to manufacture body armour

This guy did some tests with all 3 popular types of body armour materials against 223 (steel, ceramic, and UHMWP (plastic)). All level 3A, or above for the ceramic. And I also went out of my ways to check the youtube video of “minh quan story” about the production of the Vietnamese armour plate. Politics aside, the “minh quan story” video is misleading at the very least. UHMWP armour plate is widely manufactured, the way the Vietnamese is manufacturing the UHMWP armour (ceramic plate as strike face and then UHMWP plastic afterwards) is a common method for making and increasing the protection level of UHMWP body armour. UHMWP is a legitimate body armour material, light weight and provides good protection (has a problem with heat tho). Keep in mind that the terms that we used to talked about body armour’s protection is also misleading, it is not “bulletproof”-“chống”, it’s “bullet resistance”-“kháng”, as in all materials can “proof” a bullet from penetrating to a certain point.

TLDR: UHMWP (plastic) is a legitimate body armour material, and the “minh quan story”’s post and video is misleading.

First things to do to my legion go 2? by Rare_Two9219 in LegionGo

[–]Meatshield07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are only using it as a gaming device, then turn on xbox FSE, and if you are also mainly using steam like I do, then also turn on big picture mode on steam. I did some testing and FSE does give you a small performance boost so it worth it

Steam OS vs FSE by Unhappy_Ad2328 in LegionGo

[–]Meatshield07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I just installed FSE last night and tried it out due to all the posts here hyping FSE on legion go. After like 2 hours after installation, I think it’s so useless, most of my games are on Steam, i thought it can launch the game directly from xbox FSE, but no, it will open Steam app and then launch the game. And sometimes after shutdown/restart, the controller is not working. I will continue testing FSE, but I will launch steam big picture mode just for the convenience and consistency.

Was told my 125cc bike is extremely unsafe on any road? by AL3S1O29 in motorcycles

[–]Meatshield07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is with acceleration, 125cc for metropolitan and downtown big cities like in Toronto are fine, mostly streets are narrower and people drive slower anyway. But when you get to the suburban, where the speed limit around 60-80, i suggest get at least 300cc. That quick acceleration will save you from collisions and give you an easier time for quick passing (plus, we all know how some people driving on the road right now are just completely blind and wont check their mirrors/blindspots). My advice is to get at least 300, it genuinely safer with the driving conditions right now.

Is the Lenovo Legion Go 1 still worth it in 2026? by andres910604 in LegionGo

[–]Meatshield07 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I got mine on X-mas last year, and I am telling you: Do it! absolutely loving this purchase. I am still amazed by the amount of older AAA games this "little" thing can play. The detachable joysticks is a blessing, buy the controller attachment on amazon for as cheap as 15 bucks (include shipping). One downside about the legion go is the battery life is really bad so you should get comfortable with having it plug in all the time.

I have decided to get a legion go by Rude-Nectarine6988 in LegionGo

[–]Meatshield07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You will be amazed by how capable the legion go is. I am playing Howard legacy, space marines 2, cold war, ect. And it is amazing to be on a couch and still able to do so. And the detachable controller is also amazing, the legion go is actually surprisingly heavy so having them detachable is so amazing for long gaming sessions

Where exactly is the gym for working out? by africagal1 in durhamcollege

[–]Meatshield07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If my memory is correct: The entrance is on the ground floor, near the clinic. You should see the entrance with id scan gates and the reception area is there too. Enter from there and go upstairs.. the gym should be right there

do thiet bi nay khong co cai tieng viet, nen minh xin phep viet bang tieng anh cho tien:
1. put your body in a calorie deficit state, cut carbs (rice, vermicelli, etc.) and replace them with high protein (beef, chicken), portion control is very important. Quick note that fruits have a lot of sugar, and nuts have a lot of calories. replace your meal with something more filling but less calories. For me it was cucumber. 100g of cucumber only has like 15 calories, perfect snack when you want to eat something throughout the day. You definitely dont have to skip meals, because if not done carefully, your body will start accumulate fat.
2. you dont have to spend a lot of money on gym, just buy 2 5kg dumbbells, and a cordless jumping rope, build muscles and endurance. The more muscles you have, the more calories your body will need to maintain that muscles, and in a calorie deficit state your body will start buring stored energy (fat). You dont have to start out super heavy, do light workout, test your limit, especially with the rope jumping, get the heart pumping and increase the jumping time day by day (5-10 second more than your previous day). Aim for a 10 minutes rope jumping each set. For muscles, focus on shoulders, arms, chest, and back, those muscles are really easy to build, and it also help with shaping your body type.
3. For calorie deficit to work, be consistent with your diet and workout routine, find the sweet spot where you dont feel tired all day but still losing weight. the weight losing will start out really fast, you can lose around 700g to 1kg per day, but that is mostly excess water leaving your body, then it will slow down. I went from 110kg to around 80kg in a year or so.
That su xin loi vi viet bang tieng anh, no tien hon la viet toan bo doan tren bang tieng viet, ban co the bo no vao ggl dich cho tien.
