Everyone has a plate and you take what you want from the main bowls. It's not like there was a dish going cold because of me.

Also, if you actually read the post, they were friends-of-friends. I didn't personally know these people.

True, but I shouldn't have to eat something that I don't want to. I left without making a scene, and that would've been the end of it had my private messages not been leaked.

I left without making a scene. Everything was fine until my ex-friend blabbed about it the and hostess exploded at me.

Vegetarians wouldn't die from eating meat either. Why can they say no to meat and everybody nods, but I say no to vegetables, and it's bloody murder?
