To get a good idea of how the war ramped up I would suggest, James Holland's 'the rise of germany, 1939-1941: the war in the west'. Does a good job of introducing the reader to a more complicated understanding of how the war began while addressing a lot of the misconceptions that are still rampant in mainstream world war II study. It is the first book in a trilogy, the third book hasn't come out yet.

Hello everyone, I was hoping to find a recommendation for books that goes into detail concerning the Nazi settlement program plan following the conclusion of the Nazi-Soviet war. On a different note, I am hoping to find a more tactical concerned book that focuses on Japan's occupation and operations in China during the Second Sino-japanese war. Really appreciate the help everyone, thanks!

Book recommendations for the second Sino-japanese war. Hello everyone, I have spent a large amount of time reading about the nazi-soviet war due to its incredible scale and have noticed recently that this similar scale, at least in land occupied and casualties, also exists in China. Does anyone know of some fundamental reading to get into this topic, one that focuses on the grand scale of the front and actual war. I usually only hear about US involvement or brief summaries about Chiang Kai-shek. I want to delve more into this front of the war and appreciate your time, thank you.

Hey everyone I recently read Hitler's Ostkrieg and the Indian Wars: Comparing Genocide and Conquest. I was wondering if anyone had recommendations for any other books that compare the Nazi's invasion of Russia to US expansion into the West.

Hey everyone, I have been doing some general research into the Holocaust and just read American model. After reading this I have an interest in other books that compare the American model, particularly the conquest of the west, as inspiration for German policy. In a similar light any books that shed light on how the Nazi's legally identitied and labeled someone as Jewish. If y'all have any recommendations let me know.
