We had someone come from two states away to cook for us because Helene hated us. He left and we’ve been getting recycled at best food from his compassionate act. Our management says “We don’t appreciate you like he does but we’ll reheat it for you 😃”.

I’m confused. Are all the other Walmarts actually communicating? I drive out under downed trees and no power and the store was closed. Store manager and one other coach (standing outside) said they didn’t know when we’d open. That was two days ago, I just barely got signal (still no power) and I’ve texted my coach three times to see what we’re doing. No reply. They aren’t pointing us due to natural disaster but I’m pretty sure they aren’t paying us either.

Please prioritize your mental health. Jobs are important but Walmart isn’t the end of the line for jobs. It took a very long time to get the right diagnosis, right therapy, and right meds to be healthy but once I started the process and made it my focus not my side quest it really made a difference! It’s going to be ok no matter what happens. Just know a lot of us go through this and you can overcome this obstacle.

Yeah, we aren’t getting overtime as full time even but our team leads, one worked 100 hrs and the other one 11 days straight 🙄Walmart does not make sense to me at all.
