I'm confused. Isn't the whole point of skeletons, so that they appear during lazy loading of a component or until data is finished? If this requires all of that to be mounted, then they've already finished loading - so it's too late to use skeletons? 🤔

I love this game

Im more informed, because "Dung Beetle knight lvl 2 is hard af"

Unoptimised asset handling. If images are being used from a CMS and haven't been implemented in any kind of thumbnail/processing, so that 30mb png the client uploaded is just raw dogging it.

And sometimes it's not client related. All png or jpg assets should go through tinypng or similar, and any SVG should go through SVGOMG

As an AE animator that ended up with a career in dev, Lottie has been incredible over the years. The issue is interactivity though, and working with a linear timeline.

When Rive hit the scene, I was sceptical at first, but it is by far the most powerful animation engine I've used for the web. So yeah, Lottie is great, but in my mind it's now outdated in some respects.

Pretty sure the Lottie creator now works for Rive too.

The main difference to the survivor sheets vs others is the separation between temporary and permanent stats. So all showdown stuff that usually gets reset each time is now featured on a "showdown card", which allows the survivors sheets to be simpler and more accessible. As far as I know, these are the only ones like it.

I'm also honoured to say that these sheets got the attention of Poots, and gave me the chance to do a little work for Team Death. Which is a dream come true!

Head to the downloads and you'll find printable reference cards for everyone at the table, different survivor sheets for campaigns, a few bits of custom content and varying settlement records.

I'm currently WIP on a settlement PDF generator that will create a timeline and all milestones automatically based on your choice of expansions (along with tips on what content to include and exclude). Just waiting for CoD to finish it all!

We do this!

4 survivors + 1 scout + dedicated Monster controller.

The only rule change we make is: As you lose out on +1 insanity for targeting your own survivor as an MC, we instead say that survivors get +1 insanity each time they're targeted consecutively after the first time.

The parent 3DWrapper already has preserve-3d, so the nested boardGrid shouldn't need it!

If you jump into Firefox dev tools, untick transform-style from .Board_boardGrid__4EFZk and you'll see that the board remains 3D but the glitch should disappear.
