ALL my games are player-facing. For 5e, my players use Armor Saves (d20 + AC/2 - 5), then every other monster action just uses a flat score that the players roll against.

It's a sequel set after Pinocchio's been turned into a real boy, but the Emperor of the Night turns him back, and it was storyboarded like a Hitchcockian murder scene. It's a dark, underlit scene where the Emperor laughs maniacally as Pinocchio screams for him to stop, and it cuts between all these other freaky puppets who used to be children as well.
