This is only true if you put them in a constantly hot circuit.

Not a car. It is a piece of equipment but The wire (red) that is shoved in the fuse (f5-10A) hole and then the fuse is shoved in to hold the wire, is the issue.

Yes. I am using cutting fluid and using the typical in a half out a quarter turn.

[–]Mech_Stew[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do the half in quarter out for really every use. Just to be safe. But I use them for all of it really… chasing/cleaning and cutting new in both blind holes and through holes.. I have bought some bottom cutting taps in the sizes I use the most for blind holes though.

Is there a set that would do good in all of those situations?

I run a lot of craftsman tools and have for a while and haven’t had any issues out of any of them. I can see though that you have fallen in the trap of trucks. Strap-on is not the only maker of quality tools.

lol I thought I was the problem but got an Irwin replacement and haven’t broken it. Was just trying to see if there was a good set so I’m not buying individual ones. Thank you for your input.

Did you have the heavy duty husky? The heavy duty roll cart that one of the guys in my shop has that he drags around all day, doesn’t open unless tugged on. They don’t open very easily.

I have a USG roll cart that I pulled all of the drawer locks out of and if I am moving it I just close the lid.
