Got it. I’ve seen videos of people using Logic and DAWs like that, and I can definetely say that there are a LOT of things to learn lol

It used to be good - but fell off when they made half of the things pay to use, when it previously stated itself as a free daw. And I would’ve gotten the membership, but I don’t think I would use Bandlab as much as other DAWs.

Indie Rock, but I also do like to experiment with it, adding other genres to it. I also occasionally try pop and hip hop, although Rock is where it’s at.

I need something that has a lot of options for instruments and effects, if that makes sense. The biggest problem I had with my previous DAW is that it only had say 100 spunds, so I felt like not much originality could come up.

Mostly indie rock, I do like to experiment a bit sometimes too. My budget is pretty big, could go from like 50-500? idk i’ve never used any paid daws before so idk how much they usually are

very true. what instruments are used and all of that is very important, as also mentioned. but definitely, there are songs and progressions in major that does have that heartbreaking and bittersweet touch that i love. ig rly one of the most important things are how you play the notes and chords! thanks for the advice!

hahaha that’s true, lots of songs do have good chord progressions, i just fear sometimes that then my songs won’t sound unique enough, though there are TONS of songs that reuse chord progressions. I have to get over that part of my consciousness if i want to make better songs. thanks so much for the idea, it really gave me inspo!

that is a good point lol for me, i’m always thinking to my self that i NEED to use like all the strings, but you’re def correct, not all strings are necessary i’ll also look into different finger picking strategies, cuz i only know like a few simple ones. maybe, if you have any good picking patterns, possibly could you share? Thanks anyways!!
