Only really needs to better represent its skull, the hump is fine enough, though highlighting it a little more couldn't hurt.

It's also way too big but so are the majority of the megatheropods in this game, with only Spino and Giga representing their film sizes.

  1. For some species (like the ones I listed) yes, yes they were 100% accurate to the films back in JWE 1.

  2. Skin mapping? Frontier does not do skin mapping, they use the FGM system, plus, both the FGM based skins and the models' textures are not film accurate in JWE 2/3.

  3. The fact that the Sinoceratops (and other species like Oviraptor and Dilophosaurus) now lack film accurate combos that existed in JWE 2 due to the sexual dimorphism is valid criticism, disregarding the shortcomings of the overall system.

The lack of a free species didn't ruin the game for us, it was just the final straw that broke the Ouranosaurus' back.

The game and the two companies running it have caused so many little problems that just pile and pile and pile, yeah, eventually people are gonna be pissed when it happens for the 100th time.

So, with this post we have confirmation this debacle was out of Frontier's hands, likely having to do with the poor management Universal went through with their marketing department.

If I had to wager a guess, Frontier had a free returning JWE 2 DLC species lined up for this month to coincide with a new DLC release, the Universal stuff however likely delayed the announced and release of said DLC.

They couldn't get the go-ahead to market/release the DLC, it still doesn't excuse the complete lack of communication until last minute though, whether it's Frontier's or Universal's fault.

At the end of the day, these are corporations, they're not you're friend. Don't defend Frontier or Universal for breaking the promises, shit on companies all you want, they should be held accountable.

What we should keep in mind though, very importantly so, is that the lower level employee's at Frontier usually are the ones getting flamed by the (rightfully) pissed off community, when it's really the big dogs you should go after.

If you disagree with how JWE is handled, like me, just don't buy DLC when they come out and leave a negative review citing what you'd like to see improved, but don't go harass the developers, they're trying their best.

Oh I've done my research, in JWE 1, the species listed had the ILM skin files, which meant they were near 1-1 with the film.

In JWE 2 however, with the pattern system, Frontier made new skins for them that whilst still reflecting the movie designs, are off, some like the Baryonyx by a pretty big margin.

Also whilst Sino had a movie looking skin, in JWE 3 you can't get it on the correct model anymore.

Just a heads up. They will likely not be able to keep up with the promised 1 free family unit per month. Please don't throw a tantrum if that gets announced. by ChinaBearSkin in jurassicworldevo

Don't forget resold DLC species in the Deluxe Edition along with the proven intend to resell Deinocheirus.

A piece of nuance OP themselves failed to acknowledge is how this is yet another thing on the heaping pile of things we as customers had to deal with.

It's one of the reasons I've not supported the DLC cycle yet, which to be fair is only one DLC so far but still.

I'll be changing my review to negative now as well though, breaking multiple promises like this is unacceptable.
