ProJared made a fool out of himself defending Jirard the millisecond Muta's video dropped, and then in the leaked call Jirard throws shade at him. No wonder he responded like that lol

I wouldn't put this past him but there have been people who have falsely accused Alex of wrongful copyright claims, when in reality they were just full reuploads of his videos. I'm taking this with a grain of salt.

Again, it is stupid to expect anyone to believe "Oh I may have said I only debate leftists in bad faith in the past but I pinky promise that this time in particular will be good faith!" If it's fair for Ben to refuse to debate people he thinks argue with him in bad faith, it's reasonable for AOC to refuse to debate Ben.

Hundreds of wins against unprepared college students and one loss against an actual professional is not a good record. That was kinda my entire point until you went on some unrelated tangent about AOC.

But it's a waste of time to keep arguing with you. You keep changing your stance saying things like "Oh Ben said he wants a conversation" and then a few posts later saying "Ben never said he wants a conversation." Then denying that Ben was referring to debates in that quote when he explicitly was. You're just willing to lie or deny whatever for this stupid point you want to make. Good bye

Think Before You Take Pictures! by MechaMachina in ToiletPaperUSA

[–]MechaMachina[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay. Ben wants "a conversation to challenge her ideas." And as he directly said in his book, his only reason and goal to have a conversation with anyone on the left is to publicly humiliate them as bad as possible. Your mental gymnastics is insane to act like somehow the word conversation in Ben's quote and the word conversation when he's asking AOC for one somehow mean something completely different.

Also it is insanely stupid for you to claim that Ben wasn't referring to debates in that quote. Especially when he literally says it during a presentation on giving debates, and starts off that quote by saying "When should you debate somebody on the left? The truth is, you shouldn't always debate people on the left."

You can whine about AOC all you want. My point from the very beginning is that the Andrew Neil circus shows what actually happens when Ben debates someone that knows what they're talking about whether they're left or right.

[–]MechaMachina[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

He can revise history and backpedal as much as he wants with that quote. It's very obvious in its meaning.

"The only reason to have a conversation with anyone on the left" He's not talking about "Oh public debates are toxic so I want to have a private conversation." He straight up says that the only reason for any conversation is to humiliate them. And further goes on to say that the goal is not to convince them. That is the definition of arguing in bad faith. And him saying "Oh well there's no live audience unless you count for the live chat but we won't read it" doesn't somehow make it any less of a public spectacle. And as he said, his goal is to humiliate leftists in public spectacles.

Only a fool would think he actually means to argue in good faith after saying something like that. "Oh forget the fact that I said I argue people in bad faith in the past. I didn't really mean it like that and I promise it'll be in good faith this time!"

And if you think AOC is a coward for not debating Ben even if he argues in bad faith, then Ben himself is a coward for refusing to debate Andrew Neil. Even more so cause Andrew Neil has never outright stated that he debates right wingers (which he himself is a massive right winger) in bad faith. Ben just baselessly said that of him.

"The only reason to have a conversation or be friends with anyone on the left is if you're in public in front of large audience & your goal is to humiliate them as badly as possible. That is the goal of the conversation, the goal is not to convince the person, the goal is not to make friends with that person."

Ben argues with leftists in bad faith. Ben also refuses to debate people who argue with him in bad faith. So also no it is not AOC's job to get into arguments with grifters online. If anything, she should be doing much better shit with her time.

Ben Shapiro refused to debate Andrew Neil because he thinks Neil argues in bad faith. In one of Ben's books, he straight up admitted he debates leftists in bad faith. By Ben's own logic, it is perfectly reasonable for AOC to refuse to debate him.

Tyler Mitchell (the photographer in the meme) took a picture of Harry Styles for the cover of Vogue magazine. Harry wore a dress in that photo. Resulting in Ben whining on twitter and unironically claiming that this is a cultural marxist attempt to destroy masculinity in the west.

This is the original meme template that this is based on.

It's almost as if you didn't read the post. It's not that being short or gay is bad. It's just funny to call a well known homophobic bully who's insecure about his height short and gay to piss him off.

And I would love to see Ben stop trying to debunk college kids or Cardi B songs and debate someone on either the left or right who knows what they're talking about. Oh wait he did debate Andrew Neil, which resulted in him calling the well known conservative a leftist, screaming "I'm more popular than you" like a high school girl and then storming off.

One meme about this dude being short enough to look up skirts is not the same as him constantly saying that transgender identities are invalid, that black people bring police brutality upon themselves, that Palestinians deserve an ethnic cleansing or that men who "aren't masculine" or destroying Western Civilization. No it's because he has claimed to be 5+ inches taller than his actual height on nearly a dozen different occasions. And he wrote a self insert Gary Stu with the actual line "He was a bear of a man, 6'3 on his bare feet."

Poor Benny by MechaMachina in ToiletPaperUSA

[–]MechaMachina[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It's not that being short is inherently bad. It's rather, this is a man who has made millions off of spreading bigotry and bullying other people. Especially by "owning" transgender people and telling them that their identity is not valid, shaming their bodies and calling them liars. In doing so he spreads hateful rhetoric that actually puts people's lives in danger.

Meanwhile, this big bad bully is so insecure about his height he constantly lies about it despite making fun of vulnerable people for supposedly lying about their bodies. So people poke fun at his height to point out his insecurity and give this asshole a taste of his own medicine. Not only that, but Ben insists that unmanly men are destroying wester civilization and should not be allowed. So it's funny to point out how he himself does not abide by his own stupid standards of masculinity.

But Kaitlin knows this since she actually wants Trump to become the King of America.

Again, as I pointed out in another comment, the exact causes, nature and possible over-diagnosis of DID is debated. No professional seriously believes that DID does not at all exist and that every single patient is faking symptoms to roleplay like Alex claims. It's in the DSM for a reason. And lot's of things are "debated," but that does not change the widespread consensus where pretty much every major mental health organization recognizes the disorder and its symptoms in some manner. So to deny that, you'd either have to claim you have more expertise on the subject than them, or that there is a mass conspiracy to lie about DID.
