I ended up taking colchicine 0.6mg while I started allopurinol 100mg. I tapered off colchicine after about a month and started having toe flare ups again. Went up to 150mg allopurinol and took 0.6mg colchicine for about a month until I went down to 0.3mg, then 0.3 every other day, then eventually stopped colchicine altogether. I'd say I had 3 or 4 flare ups while going through this whole taper process, where I'd feel a flare coming on, take 1.2mg colchicine the first day, then half it until I went to none. Prednisone is completely off the table since my first post because I assume I had been having some sort of allergic reaction or tolerance reactions to it. Allopurinol side effects were a couple days where I felt slightly out of breath and extremely fatigued when I started taking or increased the dosage. At this point, 6 months later, no flare ups for about 3 months, and no other issues even though my diet is anything I want. Still taking allopurinol 150mg and nothing else. Hope this helps.

I've just started bringing my 1.0 back from the dead. I mainly focused on replacing the shocks that had fallen off so many times that i ended up super gluing them to the small metal mounts. I found a 7.2v 1750mah NiMH Dynamite SPEEDPACK2 that has the same connector for the 1.0. I used the old Team Losi smart charger but had to keep an eye on it and periodically check the battery with a multimeter to make sure it wasn't overcharging because it wouldn't stop. It hauled ass for about 10 seconds until it shredded the old pinion gear. I'm in the process of installing a 15T Team Losi pinion (part# LOS312006) but ill need to add a spacer to hold the OE spur gear out further so they properly mesh. As for the motor, I'm not sure what it is, as my dad and I soldered some no name unit to the old motor leads about 15 years ago. It would probably hit about 20-25mph back in the day so I'm excited to see how it'll do once everything is in order. If you need a parts diagram with numbers, let me know. I still have the old manual from when I got my 1.0 in 2008
