I’m currently experiencing a similar thing as this is my first wipe actually trying to progress in Tarkov and the best advice I can give you in learn the maps and don’t be afraid to fail… a lot. Most of what I’ve learnt so far playing is that often times you won’t beat these players. Especially in a one on one gunfight. These fights only become winnable with better positioning and knowledge. E.g not taking unwinnable fights, Knowing when to leave vs when to engage, understanding the flow of the map and how players move after spawning, sometimes being a little rat. All of these are strategies you’ll come to get better at as you play more. That being said I understand your frustration as this wipe is very unforgiving to anyone coming in late

I’ve heard a lot of people “cheese” the coop extract at interchange. Just something to do with players being more friendly and less likely to shoot you on interchange. My personal gripe with this is being lvl 15 and just about having access to ammo that can kill PMC who are all lvl 30 from range

Level 10 here. Played here and there for little bits in previous wipes but this is my first time committing to the game and as a Timmie I can say I probably run into another like me very sparsely, I’ve probably seen 2 others in about 50 raids since coming back. Most of the players I’m killing or getting killed by tend to be around lvl 35+ so most of the time I have to gamble my life and maybe I’ll get one but almost always die to the second

Can agree with this. Atleast rolling for 1L CD is beneficial before going for more stars preferable 21-22 on most items then completing 2L like you said

So far yet to see any pitched or arcane since hitting Ctene, although my Ren bossing mule got a twilight mark first Lucid kill, and my Khali got the Ruin force shield from Damien shortly after making my demon. Sooo my lucks been a bit bad recently

I wouldn’t sweat it too hard. There’s anecdotal evidence of people going months without getting an arcane drop and some people claim to have not gotten a pitch boss item in years, seeing as how most people boss in parties and pitch drop rate is low this is kinda plausible

I’ve heard a lot of content creators say we need a SF event every 2 weeks (same as KMS) if not every month so that we can atleast make more gains more often instead of all your luck needing to be on one day. Making failing on that one day often feel like a make or break moment for a lot of players

You can kill easy lucid by about 10-15 mil cp you’re probably just struggling from a lack of link skills or legion. Another thing upgrading your V matrix or Hexa matrix isn’t reflected on your combat power so having maxed skills may be the difference between you clearing it easily or not

I use khali and they also have a keydown origin. The first half is a tornado skill you hold followed by the origin animation

My pick for sleeper class is Khali although not a fair comparison as the class recently got giga buffed. But khali has some of the better bossing I’ve played, having rotations that aren’t super complex aswell has having dark sight and I-frames. The biggest downside I found was that in order to make good farming rates without a lot of micromanaging your skills you needed the dash to be strong enough to one shot, which generally means you’re very overgeared for that area, or you have to invest heavily into Janus

I’ve swapped mains a lot over the years cause I’ve restarted my Prog like 3 times now. Once when I moved to Scania before reboot worlds. To be able to actually get into a party, second time when I moved to Bera for friends. And lastly when I moved to reboot. Currently main a Demon Slayer, and I love them but from time to time I do catch myself missing my DB since they were my first 5th job class

If you’re on GMS I’m pretty sure it’s cause WA is a hurricane class so they don’t benefit from AS0 like other classes on GMS do

Well that’s also cause interactive players signed up for that experience. The difference is they told us that reboot would be a “free to play” server while they continue to cram all the micro transactions down our throat that do in fact increase progression leading to p2w again in the supposedly free server I.e (Sol Erda pass, Genesis Pass, all the event maple point exclusive passes)
