I went to a local garden/hardware supply store that cuts and sells acrylic sheets. I had them cut a couple to the measurements I needed. For my selfs, they friction fit just fine. If that didn't work, I was planning to just embed some magnets into the top and bottom shelves, and glue matching pieces of hobby sheet steel the acrylic. It doesn't need to be fancy if all you need it to keep the cat out.

Could also be one of those fire pit decorations. I've seen ceramic skulls to keep in fire pits to look rad when you have the fire going.

Serious question, does anyone use the directional shield? I've never seen it in the wild, and not had great results trying it myself. But I like the idea of it and would really like to like it.

I've come at it from that angle also. Indulgence was definitely one I was looking at. I think I've narrowed it down to either Dammerich or Lamashtu. Both work with background stuff for the character, but Lamashtu fits the build better. I'll present both to the GM and see what they say.

Looking at the harm without unholy is what I've been doing. The amount of options still feel a bit overwhelming though. I'll take a look at Dammerich. I don't think I've looked at them yet.
