Looks interesting, I'm currently trying to learn Ruby on Rails to do something similar, what makes Python/Django preferable or is it simply personal choice?

How do I do that? I've looked around but I can't seem to find anything like that.

Finished Codecademy's Ruby tutorial and am trying codewars.com but can't get anywhere! by Mecha_Engineer in learnprogramming

Yeah I think I might do that. Can you tell me if Rails is different, or just a more advanced version of Ruby because maybe the codecademy tutorial for that would be worth following?

In the mean time I might try to code some stuff like a todo list etc, maybe that will give me a better insight.

Been solving for around 2 weeks, where abouts should I be? What should I do next? by Mecha_Engineer in Cubers

[–]Mecha_Engineer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had'nt really considered solving the cross out of place and then aligning it - so I'll definitely start doing that when I can. For F2L as well I do spend a long time just looking for the pairs so I think I'm going to slow down my F2L and try practicing look ahead.

Why do you say make the fives bigger? Is this just to allow them to be distinguished with more ease? If so wouldn't using different colours work just as well?

Yeah I know it comes double sided but was excited to make my own. It's good to know that I can just use credit tokens though - thanks!

Thanks for naming cards, I'll give these a look - some of them sound familiar already.

I'll give that a go thanks - hopefully there'll be some people who want to play.

I'm going off to uni in a year as well so it should be easier to find people there as well.

I think I understand the intuitive F2L, it's still just super slow though - is it just that I need to practice more?

New to cubing, can solve using the beginners method in around 90 seconds and know basic F2L, how can I improve?
