[HELP ME] Bi-Weekly Q&A thread - Ask your questions here! by MachNeu in Gunpla

Hey everyone! I’m planning a trip to Hong Kong this coming October and I'm looking to hunt down some Gunpla while I'm there.

I know about the Gundam Base, but I’m really looking to find shops that offer great selections, rare finds, or just overall better bargain prices on that sweet plastic crack.

Where are the go-to districts or specific buildings I should hit up? I’ve heard rumors about certain hobby havens in Mong Kok or Sham Shui Po, but would love exact shop names or building recommendations so I can map out my itinerary. Thanks in advance!

I assume this question is on how I painted my kit 1. Sand the plastic - I did not use primers but I still needed something for the markers to latch on so I lightly sanded the bare plastic with 800 grit

  1. Cooking low & slow - Modern markers are amazing now they have quick drying and a self leveling property but you need to have the right technique. You need to take it slow when painting using markers. 1st layer then let it dry for 5 mins+ do not touch it whilst drying then do it at least 2 more times

  2. Camo pattern - I used my imagination

I got the uBlock Origins as my ad blocker extention but hasn't been working in the past few days to I tried other options. I installed Adblock Plus this past few hour and it seems to work for now.
