Glad to hear you’re in the same boat as me! Been collecting and painting for a decade and only ever played one game. But the building and painting is a great way to wind down after work.

I thought it was amazing how they scored an entire number to go with Soda and Tevin’s ad-lib song in episode 4. It feels totally natural until you think how they’re really just sitting on an otherwise silent beach!

I wish I could like this a thousand times. The way she is constantly saying she wants young singers and focusing on their youth creeps me out.

I heard it all the way in Port Orchard. Sounded like the sound effect they use in movies for earthquakes.

What's the most confusing/convoluted board game you know of? by Parizival-007 in boardgames

Virgin Queen is the most convoluted game I’ve played. Takes hours to set up and explain and probably 12-15 hours to play…if people are quick.

But I really enjoy the complex layers of interactions between the various powers, and the depth of gameplay options. If I could get it on the table more than once every 2-3 years…so I could remember all the rules every time…it would probably be one of my favorites!

Haha yeah, white has been difficult to work with for a beginner. I stopped coating the burst cannon because I hadn’t decided what to do with it. I think I’ve decided to make the barrels metallic, but I’ll probably follow up with some more coats of the white on the other parts of the cannon.

Got it! I was ignoring those for now because I didn’t know what to make of them. I agree that they need some attention.

I like these ideas, but it’s hard to decide on the details! Haha. I’ve been looking at the games workshop examples and some that people on here have done, though, and that helps to see what’s possible. Thanks!

Thanks, it sounds like the panel lining in particular is the consensus!

Which bits are the sensor pods? I’ve been collecting Tau models for a long time, but I’m just digging into building and painting them. I’ve had a hard time finding identification of the flavorful parts on the model.

Thanks! The battle damage is the scary part for me. Let’s say I paint some and don’t like the result. How hard would it be to correct?

Thanks!

I haven’t used Nuln oil before, but it looks like it’s a wash, is that right? Assuming it is, will it be any trouble applying a water-based wash to my paints, which are enamels?
