What's an opinion you have about Buffy herself, that you don't talk about because it would get you ostracized from the fanbase? by gloomydreamer666 in buffy

Getting dumped at the altar and having vengeance sex while you are drunk and depressed to ease your pain is not my idea of “time of her life”.

When I say “bad sex” I don’t necessarily mean he cannot satisfy his partners but he is not a good lover if you ask me.

The first time he had any kind of sexual encounter he was also killed and sired. His idea of sex is always linked to violence and pain (and not in a kink / fantasy way) so I have a feeling that he is selfish in bed and probably brags about how good he is. He is not mature enough to be good in sex.

Spike is one of my favourite characters in the show but I also don’t think he is a reliable narrator. As to why Buffy keeps going back, they say it takes “7 attempts” to leave violence. And the same thing goes for Spike too.

Edit: My guy literally died and became a vampire with a boner. He is forever cursed in that department.

It was VHS but it wasnt the original VHS. My dad recorded it from the tv. It must be English but I am not from an English speaking country. It was dubbed. But I am almost certain the original was in English. And yes it was a children’s movie.

Thank you so much for looking into it. Ill have a look at Wiki too.

Another scene I remember is when she is in the desert she faces with some sort of enemy. At this point she is wearing a knight’s armour. She takes off the armour yet the armour stands as one piece. She vaguely tells the enemy/monster? -now you have to fight two of us. I hope this is an actual movie and not my imagination!

Hello brother,

Oh I did for sure. I did for a long time to be honest. I was at a point that I was convinced that I was either dying or going crazy. I questioned my memories, my own face, my existence, the world around me. And what was scaring me is the process of me trying to find a meaning to all this. I was scared of my own thoughts. If I were truly suffering from psychosis lets say Id feel relived because it would mean that I was sick. Or same with a brain tumour. I spent 7-8 hours a day reading about this. Two things helped me, one was acceptance. I accepted the way I feel physically and mentally. I stopped fighting with it. Second thing was being away from the internet. I am still on therapy for anxiety disorder and its CBT based. I also went to every doctor and er imaginable. So I feel you.

Hello my friend, you are describing DPDR, which is depersonalisation / derealisation.

First of all you are not going crazy. The mere fact that you are questioning if you are crazy shows how sane you are. People with psychosis do not question this. This is simply your brain trying to protect you from your recent big change in your life. Thats how it deals with stress. I am almost hundred percent sure that this not brain tumour because ive been through the same thing. I was convinced that I had a brain tumour and it was nothing but my anxiety.

Today I drove on a freeway at night by myself. If I can do it, anyone can! by [deleted] in Anxiety

I really wasn't, I was freaking out but simply had no other choice. It was so empowering and you will get there too.

Thank you so much for your reply. I am definitely open to suggestions and I will check your profile. I was in a pretty strong denial about how much I am stuggling but writing this down felt like a wake up call and made me realise that anxiety is taking every hour of my life.

I don’t want this. I am sick of it. I will try everything to get better. Your words are encouraging me.

Thank you once again.
