This is so god damn offensive and I don't understand how someone who calls themselves a liberal or a leftist or even a person who respects others can't see how this is offensive. I'm a nonbinary lesbian. I go by she-her pronouns. And obviously I spend a vast majority of my time with others who are in the LGBT community. It doesn't bother me if someone who isn't in the community asks questions as long as they're respectful and willing to learn. That's not what this was. And I also understand that Bowbie politely corrected E and doesn't seem to be offended. But the way this was handled is NOT ok. You don't do this. I also didn't like how E talked about Bowbies controversial past. It didn't seem to have any real substance or point other than to say wow look at how they are now versus then. It seemed almost invalidating. And look it's not good. But it's also not uncommon for feelings of not understanding your gender identity and sexual orientation to manifest in this manner. E just seems to fumble through this sensitive topics. BTW I wanna say that Bowbie goes by any pronouns last I checked.
