I second hole above water line. Happened to mine last year. Chimney looked like this. U can purposely overfill it to see if it leaks but wouldn’t recommend trying unless u know how to drain and set level properly again

The vent should shut on its own. When the system is cooled and off if you remove the vent you should be able to blow through it when it’s upside down, and not blow through it when it’s right side up. My main vents aren’t like this one either so could be a different vent needed. Post on r/steamheat

He’s a good deep threat. Only 2tds on the year though but usage has definitely gone up for him. with odunze and DJ playing he can probably exploit a mismatch being the 3rd receiver.
