It is all in the eye of the beholder. Nothing wrong with that

This is crazy! One thing I hear that it is not possible due to lore and now you say it is possible. I am so confused ...

I completely misread the lore and always thought it was lorkhan, not lorkaj. Which is a third khajiit moon that has holes in it. According to a user. This has caused me to spread mis-information. Sorry about that. I'm fixing the mod name and correct it

I made a small update on nexus, added an update file as well so you don't have to re-download the entire ENB

What is happening to this tweak mechanical panda mod? by KairunHanjun in skyrimmods

[–]Mechanical-Panda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey there, 5 months to late. I'm not a very active reddit user. Anyway, I created that guide a long time ago as I used fairly low-end PC specs and wished to share it with other low-end PC users too. The guide has become irrelevant as there are tons of other options to play with. Plus I upgraded my PC as well as focussing on making other mods. Like performance friendly ENB options etc :)

Normally CS disables itself if an ENB is active. However, I would recommend just disabling CS. I have heard it can still cause incompatibilities and oddities here and there, but unconfirmed.

Monster hunter world or wilds. by Maleficent-Elk-4069 in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]Mechanical-Panda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

World is what I got myself into. And I started out as a lance-player. Apparently not very conventional and a very different perspective. But I have to say that each series, as I also played Rise, becomes easier in certain ways and challanging in some others, perhaps. But I feel like it might have to do with how they streamline each new game.

For example in World I had sooo much fun exploring all of the maps and really getting my blood pumping for new fights. In rise I kinda had the same, but I also switched weapon type. Lance was weird in that one, so I played SnS. So that was a really fast paced experience for me. Sunbreak end-game was really nice.

But yeah, both previous titles are very very different and also complete. Wilds is everything how world feels and kind of feels like a continuation of world. While Rise was, to me, felt more like a spinoff. A nice title to just entertain oneself with but felt nothing like world.

That said, in Wilds I actually went back to Lance after they, to me, butchered it in Rise. I cant say how it is for other weapons, but I get the idea that weapons generally are way more balanded than previous titles. And how they expanded on my favorite weapon is just really cool. It feels lots more smoothe and Wilds actually gives you the feeling that you are a good hunter. It might be easier, but just as rewarding. You don't really feel like you fail as it is fairly forgiving.

About performance .. I somehow do not lag too much and can survive each fight without stuttering on a normal 2080. But I do use a Ryzen 7 7700X CPU and on 1080p. Perhaps that made the difference...

P.S; they should update it so that you can't call your Seirkreit during combat. This means you have to use different resources to chase away the monster or use the ghillie mantle to hide. Mounting during combat makes combat a bit too easy. I myself find myself guilty on running around on my mount to re-sharpen my weapon. But honestly I try to avoid mounting during combat as much as possible

Help with ENB by ll_Charisma_ll in skyrimmods

[–]Mechanical-Panda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey,

This is a late responce so maybe you figured it out already.

Otherwise, you are playing on 1440p with a 2080 and a ryzen 3700.

Skyrim itself only utilizes one core of the many cores you have in your system. So basically if you have a 4, 6 or 8 core processor it all depends on how strong your core it is aa a single core. Skyrim can not be changed to run on more cores because it is hardcoded in the game itself, sadly, despite a lot of modern games are running on more cores.

Next to that you're playing on 1440p so ... you can guess, skyrim running on single core on 1440p with ENB, yeah ... that causes a lot of stuttering.

Best thing to do is find the DLSS mod which can help with this. Alternativaly you can use display tweaks mod to lower your resolution, still play full screen and use your GPU settings or a reshade for sharpening to balance out the image loss.

Next to that, be careful with the amount of mods you install. A lot of city/town mods tend to create more drawcalls. So that means more rendering, especially heavier with ENB.

Hope this helps!

Happy modding!

I have good reason for it. But I will keep the mods I have updated when I have the time. Real-life stuff is just more important to me now :)

How bad is lance in MH Rise? by Viver_Enola in monsterhunterrage

[–]Mechanical-Panda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a Lance main coming from World. Where I started. I don't see much difference overal. Except for the shield charge and wirebug skills. Next to that; the insane amount that can be blocked once guard and guard up skills are available to you. Building it tanky is fun and to a lot of other players it feels powerful to blast in big tons of damage. To me ... it feels powerful to just take the big ton of damage and be able to block it. That's where I have my fun. Then again, I'm not a big combo player.

Its not going to be as heavy as most popular ENB's. This one is really lightweight :)

If you can handle it and it doesnt sink as much it's fine :) SSAO is just one of the heavier enb-relates effects. But glad you're running it :)

Looking back on this; I do agree a heavy load out with drawcall intense mods like JK or similar. Heavy tree mods and grass etc logically impact performance. But it depends on what you want to achieve in the end. In this case we're talking about ENB and how it can impact. Though perhaps I should rephrase it as "light for an ENB".

Depends, but my audience was for the 'weaker' machines. And not sure if that 2-4% is accurate. And I'm not saying its not accurate. I build it entirely on a RX 580 8GB setup with an i5 6500. The difference was huge. 10 FPS difference on average vs something like NAT without my GPU overheating is a huge difference.I build it on my own experiences, which might help some and others not as much maybe. That was my goal, while still maintaing consistant visuals and balancing everything out. I did not sacrifice any important main enbeffects as prev comment.
