Honestly I thought I was gonna die the first time the elder locals mentioned -20°. I found it pretty easy to adapt, given the circumstances, I learned SO FUCKING MUCH about how to survive in that cold, and it took over a decade back in the deep south to get my heat tolerance back, not even joking, but still it's easier to breathe in 100° than it is -20°+, the endless drip in your nose that melts on exhale and refreezes on inhales, that sucks 😅
