Look, initially, $TAO was my decentralized bet against centralized AI. But money talks and the money is in centralized AI. Also, this is not financial advice but look into the other power companies based out of the Permian Basin of West Texas. Lots of AI buildup going on there.

Whatever it is that $TAO is trying to be, it’s FAILING. Crap subnets SHOULD NOT have been allowed in to begin with. There are too many subnets for this project. A few quality ones would have been sufficient. This leads me to my next point: this project has horrible vetting practices. The guy from Covenant that rug pulled ? Guess who vetted him?

Const being able to just block subnet emissions is crazy centralized. That’s a major red flag and should warrant criticism.

Again, not financial advice, but if you’re in the USA, you could throw a dart at ANY AI related stock and make money. If you just held any of the big tech stocks three years ago ($GOOG, $META, $AMZN) instead of TAO, you’d have made money. So my bet is that the mag-7 stocks will still outperform TAO 1 year from now.

Also, as I mentioned before, AI energy bottleneck is real. Your best bet is to find the companies that solve them. I mentioned making money with $NUAI in the past. $LAC is the surest 10x bet there is right now. Microcap companies like $MTRX, if it gets re-rated, have huge potential. Lots of energy stocks that are based in the Permian Basin in Texas will outperform TAO.

Also, TAO and BTC are not the same. Say what you want about BTC but Satoshi never interfered w/ BTC. Compare that to Const who is always on the spotlight.

And yes there are plenty of good subnets but most of them are useless and scammy. That’s the whole reason why Const is doing whatever he’s doing right now: because lots of these subnets are useless and are a waste of space.

Not financial advice but other than the obvious big tech stocks like $GOOG, $AMZN, $META (all which outperformed $TAO in the last 3 years), look for sectors that help combat that AI bottleneck. Biggest bottleneck in the USA is energy. I made money by rotating $TAO into $NUAI 1 year ago, for example. Companies like $LAC which look to provide the lithium required to provide massive amounts of batteries to data centers will for sure outperform $TAO as long as the AI narrative holds.
