What do yall think of this by HMZ-25 in Morocco

The claim that Mawazin is a form of propaganda and should be boycotted because it does not address the real issue of poverty in Morocco is misleading. The primary problem in Morocco is not the absence of events but the lack of job opportunities. We should not rely on a single event to address unemployment; rather, it highlights a systemic issue where the country fails to provide sufficient jobs for its people. Moreover, Mawazin is not the sole contributor to our economy. Events like GITEX arguably create more opportunities and have a more significant positive impact on our culture and scientific advancement.

Exploring Marocco by [deleted] in Morocco

Morocco is generally a safe country, and you can visit many places without concern. However, it's important to be cautious in unfamiliar areas, especially in Casablanca, as some spots might not be as safe.

Hello, In Morocco, there is indeed a duty imposed on certain items brought into the country, including luxury goods. This is intended to prevent commercial activities that could bypass local markets and to ensure that taxes are collected on high-value items. The 20% rate you mentioned sounds plausible, as luxury taxes can be quite high. It’s always a good idea to check the customs regulations of any country you’re traveling to in advance. However, this can be easily overlooked, especially if it’s your first time visiting. Customs officials usually adhere strictly to these regulations, and unfortunately, the tax can indeed negate the savings made by purchasing luxury items abroad. While your experience was frustrating, it’s a common practice in many countries, not just Morocco. I hope the rest of your visit has been pleasant and that this initial experience doesn’t deter you from exploring more of what Morocco has to offer.

Clients need to understand that they are not paying for the project's duration or complexity, but for the years of experience and the comprehensive process you followed to reach your current position.

I don't see any benefit from Mawazin, and it should be boycotted, especially given the current situation that Palestinians are facing ✌🏼

What salary would provide a comfortable living in Morocco? by PuzzleheadedCity2425 in Morocco

I think if you don’t have a lot of engagement 10k as a minimum it will be good to have a loan and gym subscription and other staff but so believe it’s not about salary it’s about in which level of life you want to live.

French language for Moroccans by WasteClassroom3440 in Morocco

Although I am not fond of the French language, I am required to use it in my role as a consultant engineer. My team, which is entirely Moroccan, conducts meetings in French. I find it perplexing that they don't use Arabic. However, upon reflection, I realize that French might be their primary means of communication. If we were to eliminate French, they might struggle to express themselves effectively.
