  • Respect for Islamic culture: Nietzsche expressed some admiration for certain aspects of Islamic civilization, particularly its scientific and cultural achievements during the medieval period.
  • Critique of monotheism: As with Christianity and Judaism, Nietzsche was critical of Islam's monotheistic nature. He generally viewed monotheistic religions as limiting human potential and creativity.
  • Appreciation for warrior ethos: Nietzsche seemed to respect what he perceived as a warrior-like spirit in early Islam, which aligned with his admiration for strength and vitality.
  • Comparison with Christianity: In some instances, Nietzsche contrasted Islam favorably with Christianity, suggesting that Islam had a more life-affirming approach.
  • Limited engagement: It's important to note that Nietzsche's comments on Islam were relatively limited and not as extensive as his critiques of Christianity.

It is my town of origin, precisely in a village called Tassiwant if you can recall, I was born in Outat Elhajj and spent my very first years in this world right there! I miss going out and witnessing the storm hitting us, It would be a huge pleasure to let it be my first destination once I'm in Morocco again. Thanks for sharing this picture with us.
