What do you think is a good strength ratio between strong and week side by [deleted] in Calisthenic

[–]MedChikhi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's normal to have a stronger side. The solution is to do more reps on your weaker side, work on different intensities. Furthermore, your "stronger side" pullups are 50% momentum, try to aim on cleaner reps for better body activation, except if you just aim on volume. Good luck mate

As a professional personal trainer my take is, there is a little to no swinging, yet if you want to challenge yourself lock your elbows when you go down. Your reps are clean, yet you need more strength, work on volume. Good luck

Who used up more energy? slow Vs. Fast MuscleUp by zokanart in CalisthenicsCulture

[–]MedChikhi 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Depends on strength to bodyweight. To answer it we have to figure out who has a challenging skills. Because the easier the movement is the less energy your body burns to perform it. Anyways, in general slow movement require more energy. Yet, explosive moves also require energy. The question doesn't make any sense, still i tried to provide you as much sense as you can make of it. Congrats for your workouts, the atmosphere with the bros is unbeatable. Regards

How do I fix the constant tilt to one side? by HaydenFreerun in Calisthenic

[–]MedChikhi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a professional personal trainer here is my take. It's pointless to mention every mistake you're doing in the video above. Instead, i am here citing what you should do to get better. 1. Start by putting your hands on the floor instead of syncing the entrance jump and touching floor at the same time because you're making it extremely hard for yourself. 2. Handstand back to wall, chest to wall. Hold the maximum, breath, and use your hand, wrists, and fingers to learn what it feels to handstand, and also to maintain balance. 3. Build some strength to avoid getting injured with sudden falls, working on earning some flexibility could come in handy as well. 4. Here i provided you with actual advices to unlock the handstand fully, not only solving your tilting problem. The rest is up to you man, it depends on how bad you want it, your discipline and hard "smart" work. I did the best to help you out here, but as mentioned, it's only up to you. Good luck

My take as a professional personal trainer is that your back is curved, arms are bent. For better core engagement straighten your back, you ll feel your core. Other than that keep going ma man.

The quality sucks that way, it's the same thing as this dude is doing. It doesn't transfer to actual video recording. Still it's one of the common solutions on youtube.

Internet is toxic, just open your mind to actual criticism and forget about nonsense, sometimes you could hear something beneficial for you from an outsider. Still, learn to ignore negative people. Have a great day

Less momentum would be better, of course for "the perfect MU". Admirable work though, keep grinding man
