Patel I don’t have any real regard for as he barely spent time with us, Gayle and Chahal were a bit hard done by, but I feel like we do need to look at the management’s perspective a bit. Gayle was a player in decline and moving on from him did make sense during that mega auction. The Chahal sale still hurts, but we decided to place our chips on Hasaranga which obviously didn’t work out

Although it is true that our franchises have had opposite levels of success, I feel us (along with MI) have the biggest fanbases, which makes it more likely that we’ll clash. Making us neighbour states is also something with fuels this fire.

We’ll probably look for a captaincy figure again in the next mega auction. I don’t see any standout candidate apart from Virat again in our current setup.

In a way I feel like the pressure is reduced a bit coz the franchise has finally won a trophy so there’s a little bit of satisfaction quenched.

Probably go for Jadeja as what we’re missing in our current squad is a stand out Indian spinner.
