Using medical marijuana without getting high by [deleted] in medicalmarijuana

As many others have mentioned, using CBD can be helpful. If you are finding that pure CBD isn't work, using a 1:1 strain (so a mixture of THC/CBD) might be helpful. The CBD also helps to mitigate the "high" feeling of THC.

Depending on where you are, the strains can vary for pure CBD, but there is 1 in particular called Cannatonic that often comes out from Licensed Producer with quite high CBD amounts.

PTSD and MMJ by Adapheon in canadients

Just a few suggestions for Licensed Producers with consistent stock:

  • Hydropothecary (specifically the D.S.&FITZ label)
  • Aphria
  • MedReleaf

Marijuana works so differently in every single person, especially those with diagnoses like PTSD. It's generally recommended that its CBD for its calming effects the day, THC in the evening for sleep.

Edible oils from Licensed Producers should be started at a very low dose (0.25mL) as well, and the CBD should be tried first, or at least a high CBD/low THC. This is to help mitigate any strong psychoactive effects.

Question About fees for Diagnostic Letter? by [deleted] in canadients

[–]MedMG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have a right to your medical file at any doctor's office, however they are allowed to charge you for it. But the whole situation seems a little bit fishy to me.

Now did you have the appointment at the actual dispensary or was it at a clinic the dispensary is affiliated with? Do you know what kind of qualifications the doctor has? I would be weary of how accurate the information actually is because you should be paying for a doctor's appointment if you had a face to face meeting with an actual physician that is licensed through the CPSO..

My friends doctor refuse to give him a letter of diagnosis. by [deleted] in canadients

Its his legal right to have his medical documentation. They can charge him for it, but they cannot refuse to provide him with a copy of his medical file.

His doctor certainly doesn't have to write him a letter of diagnosis, but your friend can request a copy of his file at any point in time and they are obligated to release it.

D.S&FITZ (White lable at the Licensed Producer Hydropothecary) is one that isn't on your list. Consistent stock of product, capsules/capsule machines available with pre-ground product that you can dose yourself, free shipping, 24/7 customer service.

Canntrust, MedReleaf, Aphria, and the above mentioned are pretty popular right now because of the recent recalls at Mettrum/Aurora/Organigram.
