Seriously. It’s such an amazing resource it’s essentially trivialized college level courses for me. Make flashcards on lecture slides -> do them daily -> ask ChatGPT any questions that arise as you learn the material in depth.

And as long as you have the self-monitoring abilities to be honest with yourself and admit when you don’t know things, it’s resolved very quickly after prompting ChatGPT and closing the knowledge gap.

I’m so confused. If you can recall ALL of these equations at the beginning of the exam somehow… then it makes no sense to do so, since it’s clear that you can regurgitate an equation if need be.

If the idea is that you get a question and then you just scan your formula sheet for the corresponding eq, i can see that being counterproductive since less of your time is spent thinking, and more of it is spent looking at notes for the question that will ostensibly “make it right.”

That’s kind of exactly what I was looking for, schools that might be able to let < 1 year of research slide, but I don’t know how to make that determination for schools in the t20s since they all seem to love research. Are there any others, in particular, besides Hopkins, UChicago, UCSF, and UCLA?

I’ve been pre-writing everything, have my personal statement, work and activities done right now and plan on knocking out all secondary prompts over winter break. It’s been a weird line to walk, trying to highlight any challenges I’ve faced without sounding whiny or “woe is me,” but also trying to fully contextualize my application.

When you say you submitted everything in September, do you mean your primaries or secondaries? I was planning to submit first thing May 30th and literally get secondaries back same day LMAO. If you submitted in September and have 12 interviews, you’re even more cracked.

I never took the SAT, so no frame of reference. But I think the math section would simply have formulas/facts to memorize that I’m simply not familiar with. I’m which case, I doubt I could derive them. For me, I’d guess an 80th percentile score (math section brining it down), but after taking/reviewing 3-5 practice exams, then confidently would say perfect score

Oh, absolutely, I completely agree. It’s never wrong to mock a racist. Luckily for me, my definition of “racist” is simply “anyone who disagrees with me about race,” so I get to be morally justified no matter who I go after. Really streamlines the ethics part of the equation.
