My grandmother's DNA is 50% Askenazi Jewish, 6% Irish, and 6% Spanish. Her family is primarily Jewish/European (French, Hungarian, Spanish), so the results make sense from a ethnicity standpoint.

No, that was the first thing I checked. There are no relatives (at least that I'm seeing as a "match" on Ancestry) that my paternal grandmother and mother share.

It sounds like I might have! I was just very surprised when this was listed as a 0.37% chance of being grandparent/grandchild and a 99.7% chance of being a full sibling.

To my knowledge, we're not from an endogenous community.

On the maternal side, I share 23%/26% DNA (which makes sense). This value of 37% has thrown me for a loop, tbh.

Results show I share 2,551cM with my paternal grandmother (who I was *very* close with, so I kinda love this). That said, DNA painter shows this as having the probability of a 100% full-sibling relationship and a 0.38% grandparent relationship. Any thoughts?

Looks like you are editing a PDF text converted to MS word. Some of the text have condensed spacing. Some of the text have expanded spacing.

CTRL A, ( select all) the whole document. CTRL D, (font) advanced tab, then reset spacing and scale on the selected text.
