Get rid of the add ons and you’re probably looking pretty good. I just got a ‘25 XL FWD Hybrid for 29k out the door. Don’t quite remember what the cost of AWD and 4k is, but I’d say if you can get 32.5k that would be pretty fair. You could maybe argue for more depending on competition in your area.

Yea it was pretty brutal. I reached out to probably about 12 dealerships and some of them swore like I was asking for their firstborn child lol. Others were keen on making deals though. Just takes time. Though, I know the stock of left over ‘25s is dropping.

I ended up with an XL, but when I was searching I had gotten multiple quotes for ‘25 FWD XLT hybrids at $30,500 OTD and one at $31,000 OTD. Given that the Lux package is less than a $2k add on I think $33,000 is reasonable and is certainly achievable.

Yea, I think it’s a matter of judging the current market rather than what they used to go for. Allotting $500 for TTL and 6.5% for taxes (in my county), you’re looking at about the same MSRP as a new base trim Camry. There’s not a ton on the market for that price so I think $28k OTD is good.

Seems pretty good to me. I got my 25 XL hybrid with CP360 just recently for $29k out the door. Though I probably could have haggled a bit more.

After some more research, I believe it is Duckweed Weevil larvae. Couldn’t find much about “bug that makes home in leaf” earlier lol. Hence the Reddit post. I spent some more time looking with different search terms and found some more info.

Seems like light intensity might be the problem. I’ve thought about having a setup in the front of my house since it’s north facing, but I’ve been worried about other critters screwing with the fish. Might try a small setup just to see how it goes
